Witu Community Development Platform is a Community Based Organization run by the Franciscan Missionaries of St Joseph (FMSJ), in collaboration with the Board of Trustees and Management Committee, on behalf of support group members.
The CBO is located in Lamu County, Lamu West Sub-County, with its office along the Garsen–Witu–Lamu road at the Witu/Kipini Catholic Church premises.

Established as a small community support initiative to respond to the growing needs of vulnerable families in Witu.
Formally registered with the Department of Gender and Social Services, marking the group's official recognition.
Renamed Tuvumiliane Witu HIV and AIDS, growing to more than 100 members under the leadership of Sr. Dorcas.
Re-registered as Witu Community Development Platform (WiCoDeP), broadening its mandate across the Northern Coastal region.
Running core programs in health, rights, education and livelihoods, in partnership with national and international organizations.
